On Thursday I toddled along to see Lissie performing at USF Verftet (a really nice arts centre type place right next to the fjord, and right across the fjord from the Hurtigruten terminal, and so I paused for a few minutes to think wistful thoughts before I went in). Lissie's an up-and-coming artist from the US, who I happened to catch by accident when I was at T In The Park, but alas I didn't have a very good view then. I arrived early this time and hung out next to the stage while all the Norwegians hung out next to the bar.
She was absolutely incredible. I haven't had so much fun at a gig in a long time, and the crowd were very enthusiastic, which always helps.
I managed to record a video of one song called Record Collector, which is one of my favourites from her album:
Quality's not brilliant - so my apologies there.
